What’s that classic saying? “Work a job you love and you never work a day in your life,” so that’s what we are doing! Or at least trying to do, and your support helps that so thank you :)

It all began one dark, chilly January morning while Wyatt was at the gym (yes, it was a New Year’s Resolution activity). He was sitting at the machine for far too long trying to find a podcast to listen to. He had run through the sports, movies, TV shows, and history pods and was looking for a show that would send him on an adventure to somewhere sunny even when his bank account wouldn’t let him. The problem was he couldn’t find anything!

The thought was to focus on the one thing all travelers have the most fun with when it comes to vacations - packing! “Pack Your Bags” was going to focus on the struggle and strategies for packing your bag to different locations.

After some trial and error, they wanted to expand! Pack Your Bags became the first segment as “The Bag Tag” was born.

Now the two could share their own travel adventures while also adding in the latest travel debates, tips, news, and stories that are taking over the travel industry.

From daydreaming

to EXPLORING.

Who are you people?

Oh yeah, probably good to know who’s behind The Bag Tag. We’re a Fortune 500 company with over 8,000 employees….

Nah, we’re just a lil old married couple who needed something to do after we said “I do”

Things we love:

  1. each other

  2. our pets

  3. travel

  • Co-Founder

Hey there, I’m Chantel! Co-Founder of The Bag Tag, wife to Wyatt, and mother to Henry (pug) & Freddie (black cat).

When did my love for travel start? That’s a great question… My mom used to drive me around in the car as a baby to get me to fall asleep and, ever since then, I can instantly fall asleep in the car or on a plane. So I’d say it’s not necessarily the act of travel that I enjoy but getting to see new places, and eat their food. I love food.

    Other things I love:

    • All my boys, duh

    • Reading - put a romantasy or dark academia book in my hands and you won’t hear from me for days

    • Horror movies - not haunted houses, because I only like to feel scared in the safety of my own home

    • The cheesiest action movies you can think of, literally, Olympus Has Fallen is my guilty pleasure

    • Cooking - while I’m a foodie, I’m also an amateur chef and pride myself on making good, homecooked meals

    • All things glam - makeup, nails, hair, I just love being fabulous

    • The beach - I was born & raised in California then lived in Hawaii for 10 years, what do you expect?

I think my dream life would be living in a beach house or on a vineyard with like 3 pugs and spending at least one week every month in a new place.

[sits down, netflix interview syle] “Is this thing on. Should I look at that camera or this one”

Hey, I’m Wyatt - the cofounder of this lil adventure.

Mhmm..about me- I was (and am sometimes still) afraid of flying. I need the window seat. I get really into decorating for the holidays. I’ve been dabbling in video games with PS5 and Switch. My family runs an ice cream shop - Licks Unlimited. I love Mountain Dew and coffee, who needs sleep, am I right?!

Feel like everyone does, but I enjoy movies and shows. Here are my thoughts:

    • Marvel - Good!

    • They don’t make comedies like they used to

    • White Lotus - met Mike White on Mount Etna when they scouted season 2

    • Play Fantasy Survivor

    • Apple & HBO are top tier, Netflix gives us slop that I can’t stop consuming, yet I don’t want to stop

    Big sports fan!

    1. Patriots (queue eyeroll, we stick now anyways so back off)

    2. Vikings

    3. Wild

    4. Twins

    5. Wolves

    6. College Sports - UMN Gophers, UW Huskies, UH Rainbow Warriors

Can I be 100% honest with y’all? I dream of spending my life in a different city every week — smacking on new foods, strolling down different streets, learning new ideas from different cultures.

I’m tryna break out of that 9-5
